    Biomass is Old but Handy

    Biomass is Old but Handy
Biomass has been in use since the Paleolithic Era in 150,000-40,000 B.C. The cavemen discovered fire for adaption to the cold temperature.
  • 5000 BCE

    Mechanical Energy

    Mechanical Energy
Mechanical energy can be dated back to the Neolithic Era where humans were learning how to use agriculture and how to hunt more efficiently. To the 21 Century were we use technology to do much of our labor, we even have some technology that works on it's own.

    Hydro power is introduced

    Hydro power is introduced
Hydro power has been around since the Greeks in the ancient world. The Greeks used a water wheel. The evolution of the modern hydro power turbines began in the mid-1700s when a French hydraulic and military engineer, Bernard Forest de Bélidor wrote Architecture Hydraulique.
  • Sir Isaac Newton starts the Gravity speculation

Sir Isaac Newton starts the Gravity speculation
He found that gravity acts on all matter and is a function of both mass and distance. Every object attracts every other object with a force that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. Which lead to Albert Einstein proposed that matter curves space-time, and that gravity is the curve that causes objects to deviate from traveling a straight line.
  • Electricity's Complexion

    Electricity's Complexion
Benjamin Franklin decided to fly a kite that had a key tied to it during a thunderstorm to prove that lightning share similarities with static electricity. He performed this experiment after some others in France. This gave Benjamin Franklin the idea of enlightenment that built the foundation to the future. The year is correct but date is incorrect.
  • James Watt Steam Engine Invented

    James Watt Steam Engine Invented
The Watt steam engine was the first type of steam engine to make use of a separate condenser. He realized that contemporary engine designs wasted a surplus of energy by repeatedly cooling and reheating the cylinder. Watt introduced a design enhancement, which avoided this waste of energy and radically improved the power, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of steam engines. The date is controversial except for the year
  • Solar Power Discovered

    Solar Power Discovered
Henry Becquerel, a French scientists, observes the product of electricity directly from the sun while experimenting with an electrolytic cell made up of two metal electrodes placed in an electricity-conducting solution. The conversion of energy from sunlight into electricity, concentrated solar power systems using lenses or mirrors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam. Year is Correct not date
  • Wind turbines

    Wind turbines
U.S. scientist and businessman Charles Brush builds the first wind turbine to generate electricity. Measuring 17 metres tall and using 144 cedar rotor blades, it has a capacity of 12 kilowatts. Wind has been used as the driving force behind the power of many things for around 3,000 years. It dates back to the Egyptian empire times when things were powered with wind through water and occasionally, on land. Also sailors used wind to propel the ship toward it's destination.
  • Nikola Tesla Coils

    Nikola Tesla Coils
An electrical resonant transformer circuit designed by inventor Nikola Tesla around 1891 as a power supply for his "System of Electric Lighting". It's used to produce high-voltage, low-current, high frequency alternating-current electricity. Tesla experimented with a number of different arrangements consisting of two to three, coupled resonant electrical circuits. The exact date isn't controversial, and except for the year.
  • Nuclear energy created

    Nuclear energy created
Physicist Enrico Fermi discovered the potential of nuclear fission in 1934, when he bombarded uranium atoms with neutrons and was surprised to discover that the products of this reaction were much lighter than uranium.
