Life in the City
over time, cities deveolped into places with manufacturing industries which lead to these industries driving people out of their rural lives to work in these manufacturing industries. Many small towns were transformed into huge cities because of this, including Vancouver. The peopl who were employed in these industries were often paid poorly for hard labour, could speak little english and lived very poor lives. -
