    Albert Sidney Johnston/ P. G. T. Beauregard was in command of 40,335 Confederate men and Ulysses S. Grant in command of 62,682 men for the Union side. The battle took place in Tennessee. This was one of the first battles that took place in the Civil War. Grant took home the victory over the Confederacy with the lost of 13,047 Union men and the Congederacy with the lost of 10,694 Confederate.

    Tennessee is a buitiful state but at this battle it was made into Hell on Earth. The ones who you are to blame are Braxton Bragg and his 37,739 Confederate cupporters and also William S. Rosecrans 41,400 Union men. These two storms just flowed over the Stones river and met with a clash and hurled its bright lights with its loud defining sound with every bolt of light.

Wave after wave the union held and finally it was over with the Union staring at the backs of the Confederate storm retreating. All together Bragg lost 11,739 men and Rosecrans lost 12,906 men and claimed victory.

Lee was out generaling Joseph Hooker withe only 60,892 men at the Confederacy's side and 133,868 Union men at his side .It seemed like Hooker would have won by a land slide against a handfull of men that Lee was commanding, but as the days progressed Lee had beet all odds and had tooken the victory home for the Confederacy States.

    On this day in Pennsylvania while Commandor Robert E. Lee was in charge of the Confederacy army with 75,000 men, and Comamandor George G. Meade in charge of the Union army with followers nubering up to 82,289. In this major battle Lee had Meade and his men cornered but on the 3rd day Meade turned the battle around and won the glory and the tide of the war for the eastern front. The cassualties were devastating with the Confederacy 28,063 men dead and the Union army with 23,049 men dead.

    In Georgia this battle was tooken place. Braxton Bragg was in command of 66,326 men, and these men werent planning on loosing. William Rosecrans was the commandor of the union at this point and had 58,222 men backing him up. Numbers count when the Congederacy had nearly eight thousand more troops than the union. Rosecrans took the victory in this battle of course. Casualties: 16,170 Union and 18,454 Confederate.

    In Virginia just days before Lee's last battle he and his men of 61,025 were confronted by Grant and his many numbers of men up to 101,895. Still even though the Union out numbered the Confederacy, Lee held off and made best of what he had and barely lost any of his men. Lee only lost 7,750 men when him and his men killed 17,666 Union solders under Grants control. But the victorian of this battle was not known.

    Battle of Spotsylvania
    Finally trying to stop Robert E. Lee and his 50,000 men for a final time and who steped up for the Challenge was Ulysses S. Grant with 83,000 men. But even though Grant out numbered Lee tremendously, Lee was still the better general and out witted Grant and pulled a victory once again loosing only 9,000 men and Grant loosing 18,399 men.
