    After winning WWI, the United States had a lot of money. The cities were full of people and all of them had a new lifestyle, they were consumers.
  • 19th Amendment

    All American women have the right to vote. Also this created a window for women to start having "same opportunities"
  • The rising

    The price of the market was starting to rise.
  • Prohibitions

    Alcohol industry went down because only drink wit 0.5% of alcohol were permitted. This made the people life healthier. Also, the immigrants were under strict control.
  • Industries and Wars

    Vehicles industry raised to their top point because people bought a lot of cars, in general almost all industries were in a very good spot. Also, the KKK had their top moment because they had a lot of supporters in order to kill black people. This created a cultural war.
  • The Great Depression

    The stock market crash and a lot of people lose everything they had. This not only affected in USA, but also worldwide.
  • Worst point

    Almost all the banks collapsed, the people lost their accounts and therefore, their money. 15 millions of Americans were unemployed. People started to commit suicide.
  • Roosevelt

    Franklin Roosevelt was elected the new president of USA. He promised to stop the depression and convinced people that he was the best chance for USA economy to rise again. Also, in that year, he launched the New Deal for America. This was a series of programs and regulations that wanted to help to recover the USA stability.
  • Culture Change

    Since 1929, the people have changed their lifestyle completely because the don't have more to spend. People could only work in their jobs, if the had one, and ear to the radio.
  • WWII

    In 1939, WWII began in Europe. When USA entered in 1941, their economy rised again and it was the boost that they needed.
