    The Young Plan was introduced as a revision to the Dawes Plan, which was a plan to solve the world war I reparation problems, the man responsible for it was an American banker named Owen D. Young. The plan was going to span over 59 years , and germany would also receive a loan from america. British and French troops would also be taken out five years earlier than originally planned. The plan managed to reduce the German debt 20%.

    The conference was a gathering of four different countries in order to make revisions to the navy. The nations involved were Japan, Great Brittain, and the United states. The conference took place in Geneva, the president of the united states at the time was Calvin Coolidge.Each nation had separate ideas on the navy. Since no one could reach an agreement the conference was a failure, and the naval arms race continued.

    The Lausanne Conference was a meeting held between the United States, Britain , Germany , and france, the meeting resulted in a suspension on the debt from countries that were listed in the Treaty of Versailles. After a month and much deliberation it was decided to completely eradicate the debt owed by germany in world war I.

    This meeting was held in Cairo Egypt and its purpose was to determine the allies position against japan during World War II, The people in attendance were the president of the United States FDR, prime minister Winston Churchill, and Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek of the Republic of China. At the end of these meetings the Cairo Declaration was given which stated allies would continue to deploy troops until japan's surrender.

The conference took place in Livadia palace near Yalta. Its main purpose was to help rebuild Europe from the damage the nazis had caused.

    The division of korea was a result of allied powers winning World War II. With the War over and Japan's rule being broke the country divided. North and South Korea were both occupied by different World powers. North Korea was being assisted by the Soviets and South Korea was being helped by the United States. This division of the country took place at the 38th parallel.

    An american B-29 bomber named the Enola Gay dropped the world's first atom bomb on Hiroshima. The deaths from the first bomb range from 96,000 to 140,000. A few days later the second atomic bomb is dropped on the city of Nagasaki, the death toll was around 80,000. This resulted in the surrender of the japanese and the end of the war.

    This plan was also known as the European recovery plan, it was implemented after World War II. The United States gave billions of dollars to help European nations recover. This plan took over four years , and it also established good ties between the United States and Europe.
  • Berlin Blockade

    This is one of the major first events within the cold war. The soviets blockaded Berlin from the western allied forces . The western allies response to the soviets was to drop supplies to the people of west berlin. Within one year over 200,000 flights were flew dropping a total of 8,000 tons of supplies a day. The USSR eventually took the blockade down in the following May.
