    President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the Executive Order No. 9102 on March 18, 1942. This order was responsible for the forced relocation and internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.

    FDR was reelected in the 1944 election. He was democratic and defeated Thomas E. Dewey. This election was held during WWII.

    FDR died while still in office of a Hemorrhagic stroke. He died at the age of 63 and his vice president, Harry Truman succeeded him in office.
  • Hitler Dies

    Hitler died on April 30th, 1945, just ten days after his birthday, to suicide. Him and his wife committed suicide in his bunker and the Nazis surrounded on May 7th 1945.
