  • The Kybalion

    These beliefs stemmed from the writing of The Kybalion first published in 1908. The Summum took these writings and adding on to them finishing the book in his own style.
  • The Beginning

    Claude Nowell claimed to have an encounter with beings described as Summa Individuals
  • Summum Pyramid

    The Summum Pyramid was built as a place of worship in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1977 to 1979.
  • Summum Bonum

    During his newfound religion he changed his name to Summum Bonum Amon Ra with news stories enlightening us that he usually went by Corky Ra
  • The Summum Nectar

    The Summum used Wine to distribute it to their members as gifts to their followers. They also served as a 'Nectar' in the meditation practices they conducted with their followers.
  • Summum Meditation

    The Summum held Meditation as a very important part of their religion and the main way to be able to communicate with the Summum people and obtain a clear conscious.
  • Summum Mummification

    The Summum's believed in Mummification and the first person to undergo this process was Nowell who died in January 2008. His body is preserved in a bronze mummiform casket.
  • The Seven Aphorisms

    The Summum created the Seven Aphorisms as their own version of the Bible's Ten Commandments.
  • A Town's Religion

    The Summum lost multiple court cases but the most notable being the one where they tried to place their own commandments next to a monument of the ten commandments. They lost this lawsuit as they said it would try and establish a religion for the town.
  • The Current

    Summum had a period of going through multiple lawsuits and trying to protect their rights as a private religion against the current religions of the day.
