    Sometime after the Trojan war Odyseus and his men thought it would be smart to attack and raid the Cicones, who was allies to the Trojans during the war. During this Odyesus last 72 of his men, and continued sailing.

    The Lotus Eaters
    After sailing for some time, Odysseus and his shipmates came to an island. Odysseus sent some of his men to look over the island, but while there the men ate some of the Lotus and lost any desire to go home. Odysseus went to get them, dragged them back to the shi and tied them down, and went on.

    It is now Or story takes us to the island of Cyclopese. Odysseus and his men are captured by one, and several of his men are eaten by said Cyclops. But using his wit and smarts, Odysseus ceates a plan to escape and soon does.

    Witch Circe
    It is then Odysseus and his men come to the island of the witch Circe, She turns all of Oddyseeus men into pigs, and he is forced to stay with her for an entire year

    It is then Odysseus is told by Circe to take his men to the Land of the dead and fetch something for her. He does and completes his task

    Odyseeus and his men then leave Circe's Island, but run into trouble with the Sirens. They are save then, but then came across the two moster Scylla and Charibdis. Six of the crew.

    Even though Odysseus was warned not to eat the cattle, after he had fallen asleep, his crew went of and ate some of it anyway. They were then zapped with lighting by Zeus, and had thier journey held back further

It was then she tricks him, and tells Odysseus that she had moved thier bed. Odysseus proceeds to tell her how he had built it, and how it could not be moved. Penelope is over joyed that it is actually her husband. She kisses and embraces him, and the go off to tell each other what had happened during thier time parted
