The separation of Church and State gives the Public School a free place that is not dominated by a specific religion, and gives students the ability to be culturally diverse and allows education for everybody. -

Infant schools kept kids out of sweat shops while offering them education. This is important because this eventually turned into Kindergarten and the beginning of an education system. -
Poor and Working Class Demand for Schools
White men of all social classes recognize the need for education for all of society, and all children begin to become educated freely. -
Massachusetts First State Board of Education
This event improved the quality of schools and made higher standards and expectations of them. This gives higher expectations to all school. -
Changes in Student Discipline
This led to a safer and healthier environment for students. Students could now learn without physical discipline and were more motivated and likely to succeed.
