Microsoft Disk Operating System was a renamed form of 86-DOS, originally written by Tim Patterson. Microsoft needed a OS for the IBM Personal Computer, hired Patterson, bought 86-DOS from him, and the rest is history. -
Commodore 64
Created by Jack Tramiel and the Commodore International company in 1982. Released for $595, it would go on to become the best selling computer model of all time, and change computers and videogames for ever. -

Technology originally developed by James Russell in the late 60's. First released by Philips and Sony and released in 1982. Originally could only store and play digital audio recordings. Several formats would be created to allow pictures, videos, etc. -
