    The Macintosh 128K was the first personal/ portable Computer, For it had an indentation on top the makes it easily carried. It's introductory price was around 2500 dollars. It was designed to achieve adequate graphics performance, The proccessor was a MHz Motorola 68000 microprocessor. The built in display was a one-bit black and white screen. The built in space was a by comparison to a new mac was tiny. A 128 megaByte memory.

    Macintosh II
    The Mac II was one of the first computers to look like one we use now. It seems a little ahead of it's time because most Microsoft PC's looked like this in the 1990. The operating system was a lot better than the pervious with a 200 megabyte hard drive.
  • First Mac Laptop

    THe mac laptop was a new thing. THe original was a High quality operating system, though sales were low. Possible because the original price was 6000 dollars. Instead of a mouse, it used a track ball that can be taken off and put into two diffrent slots on the keyboard. To Maximize the battery life the apple company put in an SRAM system that put in a low power sleep mode when not in use.

    A simple mac that looked like the original Mac 128K. It was designed for low weath families at a starting cost ranging from 500-1500 dollars. The computer was often very slow and couldn't have many other programs than the few installed already. This was a big hit for about a year. The most program was the typing ones like notepad because of low end buisness men.

    The Macpowerbook was a series of models that look similar to recent laptops. These laptops over where very large and had a moderatley low capacity. The laptops had a trackball like the original laptop and most powerbooks have the same.

    This laptop was very expensive. This one had no track ball but a finger trackers. The computers can run at a moderatly fast speed and capacity, but can be overloaded quickly.
  • The iMac original model

    The iMac also Thirteen "flavors" or colors such as Ruby or Blueberry. This is a small computer that has a continuing series of models. This is one of the first models that has a two buttoned mouse. In this model, round seemed to be a general feature with all componets. It was a cheap computer with costs starting at 1500 dollars.

    This very sleek computer was made in 2001. Like former powerbooks it is a rather compact laptop. This had a few quality errors. The hinge is a good example. The hinge often would snap in normal circumstanses. Most likely is because it had a thin plastic casing and was erected into an 'L' shape when manufactured. Otherwise this computer started at 1200 dollars and decreased to 1000 dollars.

    This Mini computer has a less that 7 inch width and is only 2 inches tall! The external power pack is roughly 1/3 the size of the computer. And the ranging cost was about 600 dollars.
  • MacBook Pro

    MacBook Pro
    This model is a model that cam in 3 varying sizes. 13" 15" and 17". THese models are one off the latest editions to the family and isn't to cheap. The price is about 1200 dollars.
