Tikal
Tikal was built and formed by the maya culture. It is now a large archaeological site int he north part of Guatemala. Their was a trace back in 1000 BC that agricultural land was very popular and a good source of food for who lived their. Their was a dynastic rulership at Tikal and at the foot of it made up of different Maya culture. -

Tenochtitlan
Tenochtitlan is a city state island that is located on Lake Texcoco.Once founded it became the land for the Aztec Empire which at the time was rapidly growing. Unfortunately in 1521 it was captured by the Spanish society. Now in present day, the ruins have relocated into the central part of Mexico City. -

Machu Picchu
Macho Picchu is about 8,000 feet higher than sea level and is a place where tourists may want to go because of how incredible the sight is and the history. Machu Picchu is located in Peru and 50 miles northwest of Cuzco. The Incas started creating Machu Picchu around 1400 AD but was abandoned until the discovery in 1911, Incas used to farm on Machu Picchu and had a steady industry for quite a while. They used llamas as trucks to deliver goods such as vegetables to many miles away, -

Christopher columbus is known for creating the famous Colombus day which we then celebrate his landing in the Americas in 1492. He was an Italian navigator, an explorer that took voyages across the Atlantic Ocean, and a colonizer. He was indeed not the first person to reach the America's land because their was at least one other group that got their before him known as the Norse. He traveled total amount of four voyages and attempted to establish a settlement along the way. -

Francisco Pizarro
Pizarro as a young adult became a spanish conquistador who conquered the Incan Empire. During his lifetime her was also the founder of a well known capital, Lima. His birth was not recorded or it has been hard for people to set a date of which he was born. They say that he was born somewhere between 1471-1478. Pizarro was a second cousin to Hernan Cortes. -

Bartolome De las Casas
Bartolome De las Casas was a spanish Democratic Priest that witnessed and set his mind to oppose the genocide and torture of the Native Americans, He was also a writer in his lifetime dealing with being the first resident to be bishop of chiapas. He was able to establish a settelment in Northern Venezuela that let native americans interact with spanish colonists. Since Bartolome had a part in Venezuela, he may have interacted with a Venezuelan Political leader at work, such as Simon Bolivar. -

Colombian Exchange
Around 1000 Ad Europe, Asia, and China had no way of exchanging good with the Americas. As they figured out how to get goods to each other such as animals and vagetables, they became more richer and able to do more things. The size of population incresed and idedas were more wide spread but witha down fall in some cases. In fact their were diseases getting spread from the new world and the old world. In this time period people are very dependent on items they never had. -

La Noche Triste
La Noche Triste was an important episode during the time period where Hernan Cortes conquest of the Aztec Empire and the Spanish Conquest of Mexico were taking place. Their was a huge fight going on because Cortes and his members were apparently unwelcomed at the capital. So one night, while still under attack, Cortes had to get food, water and other supply because they were out but he had to do it at night so he wouldnt get caught. The fighting just got worse until a couple thousand men died. -
Haitian Revolution
The Haitian Revolution was a battle that lead to the end of slavery and therefore accomplished the first repubic lead by African Ancestors. One of the Haitian black comanders was Toussaint Louverture who took a astounding role with getting the Haiti establishment going. With Toussaint being the leader, the men of his army were mostly made up of former slaves during the Revolution.
