Received the most sign-ups out of any school club at both the fall and winter Clubs Nights in its first and second year. Refined several important skills including patience, improvisation, non-verbal communication, critical thinking, and misdirection .

    BDC Enterprize Business Plan Competition
    Prepared and participated in Canada's largest business plan competition as the youngest competitor nation-wide. Won third place in the Ontario regional finals and awarded prize money of $4000.
  • Queen's Entrepreneurs' Competition

    Queen's Entrepreneurs' Competition
    Fostered entrepreneurial spirit in an international competition by creating a comprehensive business plan and arguing its viability to 3 panels of judges. Gained invaluable insight from sophisticated investors into the world of entrepreneurship. Finished fourth place out of 52 competitors and awarded the CPP Investment Board Innovation Award.

Conference was awarded the esteemed "Excellence Award" and "High Demand Award" from the Queen's Commerce Society in 2007 and 2008 respectively.

    Queen's Commerce Society Business Plan Competition
    Created and presented a business plan to the Queen's Commerce Society for a website called "SeeWhyMe" to connect students with recruiters in a better way. Finished first place and awarded a $1,500 cash prize. Gained unanimously approval of the concept after the competition and secured $30,000 in financing from the school to start the business in 2011.
