Because Soviet law stated that no ailments must be given to civilians until the quota was met, the horrifying deterioration of the Ukrainian population commenced. Peasants of all ages were starved until a grueling death was met. The death toll was between 6-7 million.

Sadistic "games" including the decapitation of humans, and the barbaric mutilation of civilians thus ensued. 300,000 were murdered, while more than 200,000 women aged 7- 70 were both raped and tortured. And to think that these horrendous atrocities were met with smiling faces on the part of the Japanese soldiers.

Anyone and everyone who rebelled were instantly executed regardless of age, ethnicity etc. Approximately 1.7 million were murdered.
