Surgery
I do not know the exact date for this event. But It was in october.
When I was only 11 months old, I had only had 40% hearing. Which isn't good. I had 2 sets of tubes put in my ears. Then, when I was 3 years old, I had the surgery in my ears. I had no trouble hearing afterwards. Without that surgery, I would have been deaf. -
No Longer an Only Child
My younger sister, Grace, was born on April 5th, 2001, I was about 3 and a half years old, so I didn't really understand anything that was going on. I knew one thing for sure, I was going to be an older sister. That changed my life completely. Not only did I have to learn to share, but I also learned to adapt to new situations at a young age. I also became a Role Model to her, and so I try to be as best as I can. -
Hurricane Katrina
Hurricane Katrina was a big deal to me. I was extreamly upset about the people who where affected. So, the Girl Scout Troop I was in, and the adults, put together a giant yard sale. We raised a lot of money for the victoms, which made me happy. I also got my own page in the newspaper. And, being as I was younger at the time, was a BIG deal for me. This helped me grow in so many ways. I accomplished something big in my life, and made a difference for others. -
Cheerleading, BasketBall, and Dance
I got into cheerleading in 3rd grade, basketball in 4th grade. I took dance for a longer time, when I was much younger. So the date varies. Taking cheer and basketball got me into sports, and I became more active. I've played basketball ever since. I gave up on Cheer and Dance, though. But if it were not for these times, I never would have played sports. -
Fourth Grade
The picture you see is of a very close friend of mine, and myself in 4th grade. It's not the best, but it was one I could find. Fourth Grade was a very, very big year for me. So much changed. I made new friends, many I still have today. Meaning I became more socail. I brung my grades up, and got accepted into advanced classes. I became interested in Anime, Art, Writing, And Music. -
Meeting The Family
At my grandmothers roast, I met most of my family for the first time. We call gathered to see my Grandmother before she passed. Meeting all of them helped me learn the value of family, and how important family really is. -
My Grandmothers Death
My grandmother died on October 10, 2007. I was in the fourth grade when this happened. I hadn't had to deal with death in the family before, so it shocked me. The family knew she was going to die soon, due to cancer, but we were not sure when. Her death taught me that anything can happen, and you have stay strong, whatever it may be. -
My First Concert
Video From Concert October 2, 2009 I went to Virginia Beach for my first concert. Ever. I saw Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, and Asher Roth live. These are some of my favorite bands. This concert made me grateful for the things that I have. Plus, it was just plain awesome!! :)
