Missouri Compromise
The reason this happened was that Missouri wanted to join the Union so the slave states do no get to much power. They were afraidthat the slave states would get to much power. -

Slavery was when people got africans and brot them to America. The whites acted like the slaves were there property. The whites treated them like they were less valuble then hourses. The slaves started going north to freedom and the south started having problems with that. -
Nat Turner's Rebellion
Nat Turner was a slave that killed alot of whites. The resone that he did this is because there was a solar eclipes and he thought it was a message from god that ment to kill the serpent. So he want to kill al the whites. -
The Compromise of 1850
A man named Henry Clay suggested a compromise and it is now known as the Compromise of 1850. The north got mad at the south for wanting to destroy slavery. -
Kansas-Nebraska Act
The people of Kansas thought that people from Missouri illegally crossed into kansas to vote for the president. John Brown and his followers rampaged threw towns and killing lots of people. -
