    A festival celebrating the battle of Alcoy where St. George helped deafet the moorish forces lead by Al Azraq. Armys are marching all day to a band. They reanact the battle as part of their celebration. At the celebration they were costumes but all the costumes have to follow specific rules.
  • Seville April Fair

    Alot of people come to tourist this event. This event has fireworks during the first night. The other 7 days they have bull fights in a areana that is sold out in advanced every year. Hotels are normally all reserved so you have to reserve them before you come.
  • Running of the bulls

    6 steers lead a pack of bulls through the city. Aslo some people run with the bulls. To run with the bulls you must be over 18 and not drunk. The fences that keep the bulls going in the right direction are made of wood or steel. This festival lasts for seven days and has three runs per day.;
  • La Tomatina

    A young man was trying to join a parade and he knocked over one of the giants. The giant then got up and started swinging at all the people around him. Then the guy who knocked him down, went to a near vegtable stand and started throwing tomatoes at him. He did this until the police came to break it up.
  • Castellers de Vilafranca

    Groups of people make a tower as tall as possible. They do this because of an old rivalry of which castle was taller. They start with a strong base and get thinner and thinner. Eventually it ends when a boy usually 10-12 years old stands on the top and waves to the crowd. Falls, collapses, and injuries are common but if it all goes together the tower could reach 9 stories high.
