Moros y Cristianos(the earlier ones founded in 1588) is a series of festivals celebrated in towns of Spain(Mainly in the Southern Valencian community). It is celebrated for the Battle of Alcoy. These festivals take place from April 21st through April 24th. People parade in medieval-fashioned clothes for several days during this time. Various other events happen during these festivals. -
La feria de abril
La feria de abril or Seville Fair(founded in 1847 and celebrated in Seville,Spain) was originally celebrated as a livestock fair and is usually celebrated two weeks after Semana Santa. The fair is run for six days(beginning on Monday and ending on Sunday). It is celebrated for cultural reasons and partying and dancing occurs during these six days. -
Castellers de Vilafranca
Castellers de Vilafranca(founded in 1948by Oriol Rossell) is a celebration that's celebrated in Catalonia,Spain by the people of Spain on September. It's mainly celebrated for cultural/traditional reasons. During this celebration, people stack on top of each other to form human towers. The concept of the holiday was originally founded in 1800.
