Robert gets Pinky as a reward.
Robert gets a pig as a reward for helping Apron with her calves and the goiter in her throat. Robert thinks Apron is one of his friends. -
10 cents!!
Robert gets ten cents from Aunt Matty. When he goes to Rutland, he spends it on old bar of soap to wash his pig. -
Pinky gets a ribbion.
Robert gets a blue ribbon for Pinky. They said she is the cleanest and well behaved pig out there. -
Weasling the dog
Robert had to put a dog named Hussy, who was cute sweet and friendly, in a barrel to fight a weasel. So that the dog would become more of a weasel catcher and killer. -
Robert finds out Pinky is barren.
Robert finds that Pinky can not have any kids. Which means she is barren and there is no way she can have kids. -
Robert has to kill his pig.
Once he realizes that Pinky is barren, can not have any kids, he knows that he has to kill Pinky. Which of course, he does not want to do because Pinky was one of his friends. -
Robert and his dad start talking about how he has an infection.
When him and his dad start talking about how he has an infection and could possibly die from it. Robert will have to be the man in the house to help raise the family. -
Robert's dad dies.
When Haven Peck dies, Robert has to figure out how to be the man of the house. He has to help raise a family and all the stuff his dad would do.
