    Adolf Hiler is born on April 20th 1889. He is born in Braunau-am-Inn, Austria. He was born to Alois and Klara Hitler and had five siblings but only one had lived past childhood. Alois was an Austrian customs offical and provied his family with a comfortable household but him and his son did not get along. He had a terrible temper and a bad attitude and often took his problems out on his children. Klara was the total oppisite, she had no power in the household. (Ayer 8)

    In 1897 the piano player is invented. Edwin Votey is the person who invented the piano player. It took the form of a large wooden cabinet that stood in front of any ordinary piano.     Adolf Hitler writes Mein Kampf while serving time in prision. After the faliure of Beer Hall Putsch, Hitler was arrested and charged with treason. When he was in prison he became moody and depressed which is when he wrote the book Mein Kampf with means my stuggle. In the book it explained his plans for Germany's future. It also told us about Hitlers beliefs and hatred towards jewish people. (Ayer 8)

    On January 30th 1933 Adolf Hiter becomes the chancellor of Germany. President Paul von Hindenburg names him the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party, which is also known as the Nazi Party. On April 1st he orders boycott of jewish businesses throughout Germany. (Ayer 8)

    On june 30th 1934 the Rohm Purge which is also known as the Night of the Long Knives, emasculates the SA. Adolf Hitler orders a bloody purge of is own political party, assassinating hundreds of Nazis whom he had believed had the potiental to become political enemies in the furture. The leadership of the Nazi Storm Troopers which are also known as the SA were expecially targeted. Hitler feared that his followers took his early national socialism to seriously. (Ayer 8)

    On September 15 1935 the Nuremberg Laws which are serverly limiting rights of German jews go into effect. These were two laws that excluded jews from German life and took away some of their natural rights. The first law Reichsburgergesetz also known as the law of the Reich Citizen was designed to deprive jews of their German citizenship. Blutschutzgesetz which is the law for German Blood and German Honor forbid marriage or sexual relations between jews and those of German blood. (Ayer 8)

    On March 7th 1936 Hitler orders his army to occupy the Rhineland. It is an area of Germany that had been occupied by France since the end of World War I. This action was directly against the Treaty of Versailles. This treaty laid out the terms which the defeated Gremany had excepted. (Ayer 8)

    In 1938 the German troops make many invasions. On March 12th they invade Austria accomplishing the Anschluss reunification of the Germanic peoples. The German troops also invade Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia on October 1st. Kristallnacht also known as the "Night of the Broken Glass" on November 9th and 10th result in Nazi directed violence against German jews. (Giblin 2)

    On March 15th 1939 German troops march into Czechoslovakia and overtake the remainder of the country. On September 1st Germany attacks Poland, World War II begins. Within weeks of the invasion the Polish army was defeated. (Ayer 8)

    The Wannsee Conference draws up plans for the fnal solution to the jewish question. It is held near Berlin on January 20th. It was one of the most famous meetings in history. This conference was held to discuss a series of potentially contentious issues that had rose because elsewhere there where much more important decisions about the fate of jews that had already been taken.     On January 27th Auschwitz the largest Nazi concentration camps are liberated by the Russian army. Speaking to a group of Hitler youth memebers Adolf Hitler makes his last public appearance this took place on April 20th. April 29th hitler and his longtime mistress, Eva Braun get married. The two of them, in their underground bunker in Berlin commit suicide on April 30th. World War II is over on May 7th, when the German troops surrender to allied forces. (Ayer 8)
