    From 1824 to 1950, The Industrial age benefitted education, which in turn positively affected human life experiences. Many countries chose to advance and make progress with their educational systems with, however, there were a few countries that resisted this wave of influence.

    Western Education influenced the Ottoman Empire to reorganize their education system as well as their university education. This shows continuity because, like most other countries, the Ottoman Empire took advantage of education during the Industrial Age.

    The influence of Western Education reached Holland and caused Dutch schools to begin expanding. This show continuity because similar to most of the other countries at this time, the Dutch advanced their educational systems.

    Finally, Mexico accepted the western influence and improved their educational system. Women gained much more opportunities. This is continuity because they follow with much of the rest of the world and advance their education.

    Racial prejudice in Africa was immense due to the colonists who lived there, meaning that education was not promoted there. This is a change because unlike other regions, Africa did not promote education.

    When Industrialization reached Russia, it influenced Russians to protest for educational change and educational freedom. This is a sign of continuity because Russia was supporting educational advancements much like most other regions.
  • Chinese Education Topples with the Qing

    After the fall of the Qing dynasty, Chinese civilization collapsed, meaning its education was completely destroyed. This was a change because China didn't advance their educational systems like other regions.
  • Educational Expansion in Japan

    In Japan, schools and academics expanded greatly due to industrialization. Japan's literacy rate increased to one of the highest in the world. This is an example of continuity because it follows the common trend of taking advantage of industrialization to improve academics
