    First Continental Congress From September 5th to October 26th in 1774 the Carpenter's Hall in Philadelphi was used for the First Continental Congress meeting. The colonies there were united to show a determination of authority to Great Britain. The main theme among colonies was the colonial rights. Key tasks were carried out yet the bodies objectives were not completely clear.

    Lexington and Concord General Gage of Britain had a plan which was at the early hours of April 19th 1775 British regiments would sneak in and they would capture Colonial leaders John Hancock and Sam Adams, they would then go to Concord and take gunpowder from the city.Their plans were discovered and towns were outraged so militias were starting to form and head to Lexington and Concord to help out their neighbour towns by fighting the British.

    Battle of Bunker Hill On the night of June 16th American troops went up to Bunker Hill with shovels, picks, guns and ammo and they dug a trench all night long. The American troops dug on the wrong hill they dug on the farther side of the British position. Americans were waiting to attack the British in the morning, 1,054 of 2,300 British were hurt or killed.
