    The Boston Massacre was a shooting that took place in Boston, M.A. In this shooting, the British shot five Americans. This event was important in the American Revolutionary because it made the Americans realize that the British shouldn't be able to rule over them like that. It made the Americans furious. It created much more tension between the country, resulting in more fighting.

    The Intolerable Acts were a series of punishments that were a result of The Boston Tea Party. The British closed the ports of Boston until the tea that was wasted was payed off. The second was that M.A. was only allowed to have one meeting a year. The third one made any important choice fall to the choice of a British judge.     The Battle of Saratoga was a battle between the Americans and British plus Hessian armies. This is important in American history because it was considered the turning point of the war because when the French saw that America could fight and win, they formed an alliance.     The British left Philadelphia and retreated to New York in 1778. This was important to the Revolution because it was a little flash of proof that the Americans were more willing to fight, it showed they didn't welcome the British. The British purpose was to capture Philadelphia because it was a very large city, and they could control a lot from it. It showed America wasn't giving up that easily!

Then, they went down to Georgia, where they forced an army out. That gave them control of Georgia. This was an important event because it gave British a state.     Washington trusted Greene a lot. He knew that he would protect the South from the British. He was a good leader for the south. This was an important event because the British wanted the southern states. With Greene in charge, they were protected. That probably saved the Americans greatly
