Egeus, Hermia's father, comes forward to Theseus saying that his daughter will not listen to his will. He also asks him for his help to tell her again about the consequences if she doesn't marry the man that he assigned to her. -
Act 1, Scene 1 Hermia and Lysander's plan Pg 30
Lysander tell's Hermia that she doesn't need to do those three choices that Theseus gave to her. Instead he told her a plan he had made about them running away together to his aunt's house away from Athens and there they could get married and live happliy together. -
Act 1, Scene 2 Discussion at Peter Quince's houses Pg 38
Quice asks if everyine on the crew came to the house, so they could discuss about the play they're going to do. So they decide to do an roll call to see if everyone's there. -
Act 1, Scene 2 Role Call Pg 38-42
Quince does a role call for the whole entire crew, he also tells the crew members thier parts in the play "The most distressing comedy, and most cruel death, of Pyramus and Thisbe." Bottom's part would be Pyramus the lover of Thisbe, Flute would be Thisbe, lover of Pyramus, Starveling would be Thisbe mother, Snout would be Pyramus's father, Quince himself would be Thibe father, and Snug would be the lion. -
Act 1, Scene 2 Last setup's. Pg 42-44
After they all were done with the role calls in who plays who, Quince talks to Bottom doesn't want to just play Pyramus, but he also wants to play other parts. Then they had to pick where to rehearse so they decide at night in the woods.
