    Sicily DIsaster- Alcibiades

    Pericles nephew- Alcibiades takes his troops all along the Mediterranean towards coast of Sicily. This has a purpose to gain their sources of wheat and timber (what they needed). This is disastrous, navy was destroyed and land troops massacred.

    Athens beat by Spartan admiral Lysander on the sea

    Surrender of Athens, and the Delian League dissolves

    After the Delian League dissolved, many Greek city-states were no longer strong enough to stand up against Philip and his son Alexander the Great. The end of the Delian league was arguably the final decline of Ancient Greece.
