Election of 1828

The election of 1828 is when Andrew Jackson ran once again for presidency. He and Martin Van Buren had used the South and New York to win. The election had many slanders and abuses targeted towards both sides. -
Indian Removal Act

Andrew Jackson had always hated the Native Americans. He allowed Georgia to kick out all of the natives on its land. -
Worcester vs. Georgia

The Cherokee claim to be a seperate nation, and filed a Supreme Court case against Georgians trying to move them off of their land. The Cherokee won the case, but Andrew Jackson did not support them.
