    Election of 1824
    The Election of 1824 had 4 candidates: John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, Henry Clay, and William H. Crawford. The popular vote was in Jackson's favor, but due to a deal called the Corrupt Bargain, Jackson lost the election to Adams. The corrupt bargain was called unfair, but Jackson never got the office of president for the next 4 years

    The Election of 1828 had only 2 candidates: Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams. The overall winner of this election was Jackson having the majority of The House of Representatives' votes and The Electoral College.

    This Act was passed by Congress on May 28th 1830. It essentially forced all Indians to give up their land move west, opening up their land for settlers to settle in. This further led to The Trail of Tears in which many Indians died.

    This was a court case between a man named Samuel Worchester, who fought for the Cherokee Native Americans living in Georgia. The Supreme Court Justice John Marshall ruled in favor of Worchester. This was an official declaration that Cherokee Indians were their own independent nation and Georgia could not interfere with their laws.

    After the Tariff of Abominations was passed, The South threatened secession from The Union as they wanted economic equality. They argued that they had the right to nullify federal laws for the whole union. Eventually the Tariff was removed

    The Bank War lasted 8 years. It was a war over whether the Bank was constituitional or not. Eventually, at the end, President Andrew Jackson won this war after refusing to re-sign the charter for the Second National Bank after the Charter for The First National Bank expired.
