Colored people were no longer allowed to vote, which caused them not to be able to express their opinions. -

It was made so that it was harder for people of color to find places to live. -

Black people and White people were no longer allowed to use the same things, and generally white people were provided with nicer things. -

Made it harder for black people with educations to get jobs with those educations. -
Extension of University Education Act, Act 45 of 1959
It was made so that it was harder for black people to attend colleges and get higher educations. -
Sharpville Massacre
Police officers in South Africa fired at and killed 67 people and injured far more at a peaceful protest. -
Bantu Homelands Citizens Act of 1970
People were forced to become citizens of places whether they had ever lived there in their lives based off of their ethnicity.
