The contact with a new land from Europe. Natives Americans lived in the new continent when Europeans arrived and created tragic events that racked the natives. -

The system that the native had before the Europeans was eccentric and detailed to their very needs. There were many tribes that had their own niches in the way they lived. There were nomadic tribes for those who lived in the regions that didnt have fertile soil and non-nomadic tribes for those that had the perfect conditions for farming. -

After contact, the europeans viewed the native as barbaric and savage creatures that they killed and forced out the native that were left after the diseases killed most of the natives. the Colombian exchange started when Europe heard of the resources that the new lands had that they didn't. -

Many events occurred to lead to the point where the Atlantic slave trade was created. The Atlantic slave trade was the sending and trading of 1-8 million African Americans to Europe to help work for the citizen of the Americas. -

Towards the end of this era the native had decreased in size due to hard labor forced upon them and new diseases brought over by Europeans. -

This era is the era of native Americans fighting for land. The colonies were created and major events occurred between Europe and the established land in the Americas. -

The diseases that the Europeans brought over killed many natives but the natives had diseases as well. Many Europeans died from native diseases and devastated many people. -

the pueblo revolt occurred when the pueblo created a group to revolt against the Spanish. -

the Salem witch trials happened when the puritans believed to have a form of witch craft among them and executed many women, men, and one dog. -

This era contained many religious disputes and many issues involving slavery. The role of women was only to stay at home and not become educated. -

the french and Indian war was against the British and french over land. The french lost. -

the British taxed the colonies to help pay for the seven years war and caused the american revolution. they taxed sugar, tea, paper... and put soldiers in the colonists homes. this resulted in the Boston tea party and many lash outs of the colonists and lead to the american revolution -

the Boston massacre occurred when anger colonists disliked the British soldiers in the homes eating their food and controlling them. -

the articles of confederation was created to help define the 13 states. -
