  • Attrition Battles 1967-1970

    Isreal gains land from egypt, Jordan and Syria. Arab nations were unwilling to make peace with Isreal. Fighting continues until June 1971, Jordan exceeded against PLO. The PLO moved its base of Operations to Lebanon.

  • Settlement Construction Begins 1967

    Israel builds communities on land that that was captured in the war 1967. The settlement construction increases overtime. These settlements were built to act as a barrier and protector of opposing countries, like the PLO.

  • The October War 1973

    Egypt and Syria attacked Israel on the most holy day, Yom Kippur. Israel basically chased the palestinians out of there lans, the U.S. got involved and made sure that Israel took no more land. This event reinforced the strategic buffer zones gained in 1967.

    Palestinians and the west bank went against israel control of these territories palestinians attacked israel with weapons supplied by the PLO. Palestinians and israelis lives were lost due to suicide attacks and they continued to happen.

    Rockets began to be launched by israel against lebanon. This resulted in loss of civilians in both countries.

    Palestine elects a new president in Hamas members instead of the PLA and PLO's. People soon after speculate weather he is good or not.

    Hamas and the PLO begin attacks on eachother. Then the President dissolves the leadership of Hamas.

  • The Gaza War (2008-09)

    Israel attacked gazaz targets to stop rocket attacks in israel. The outcome of this is hundreds of blockades or civilians died. civilians in gaza's buildings and econemy was destroyed

    Israel began to make blockades. they dictated all shipments of goods and trades going on in the who trip of gaza. They were all supposed to be inspected before entering gaza. Israel states that its ations were justified ans intend to express regret

  • Arab Spring

    On december 18 2010 protests brroke out and spread all the way to tunisia and all across the arab world. Soon after the tunisian government fell apart as the president resigned. Then the same happend in Egypt and more protests occured in Algeria, bahrain, lybia, and morocco.
