Started battle watches, everybody on the ship needed to battle watch for 4 hours, every 12 hours. -

We started firing at subs that came across our way, we don't know if there subs or not, but were not taking any chances. -

Received S.O.S calls from a merchant ship. It was a hundred miles away that was being attacked by a submarine. -
Weekly Inspection
Commanding Officer had weekly inspections. -

At about 11:00, we sighted a train with other soldiers on board.
