In the rest of chaper one, we find out that Lily accidently killed her mother, deborah, when she was about 4. Lily's parents' were fighting and then her mom dropped a gun, and without Lily realizing, she accidentaly shot the gun and killed her mother. Lily tries to catch one of the bee's, that she insists are in her bedroom walls, to T.Ray(dad) to prove to him there's bees, luckally she cot the bee. Lily is 14 and still doesn't know very much about her mom but when she asks T.Ray gets mad.
