Antonie Lavoisier
Born in 1743 in France. He founded the first element oxygen, and also in his time made the first modern chemicl element list. His list had 33 elements. He married a 14 year old, and also produced better gun powder for the French Revolution. -
John Dalton
Born in 1766 in England. Coming off Democitus theory, he proved through his teat that the atom was real. He also made the first Periodic Table He was also in his time an expert on color blindness. -
J.J. Thompson
Born in 1856 in England. He did the "Pulm Pudding" experiment. Thid lead him to discover that the atom had electrons. He also married one of his students, and published 13 books in his time. -
Amrie Curie
Born in 1867 in Poland. She would find radioactivity. Studied uranium and thorium and called their spontaneous decay process to find this. She was also the first to woman to win the Nobel Prize. -
Max Planck
Born in 1858 in Germany. The energy emitted by a resonator could only take on discrete values or quanta. With that he founded the quantum theory.He married twice, and his home got destroyed by a bombing in WWll. -
Albert Einstien
Born in 1879 in Germany. Founded the theory of Relativity. He also could play the violin, and had two children. -

Born in 1868 in the U.S. He did the Oil Drop experiment to then find out the mass and the charge of the electron. He also in his off time played golf anf tennis. -
Ernest Rutherford
Born in 1871 in New Zealand. He labeled radiation types ‘Alpha’ and ‘Beta’. He also was the 4th of 12 children, and his nickname was 'Ern'. -
Niels Bohr
He was born in 1885 in Denmark. He made the Bohr Models. That showed the electrons orbit. Won the Nobel Prize in 1922. When the Nazi’s came he ecasped to Sweeden. Had Six sons, but two died. -
Erwin Schrodinger
He was born in 1887 in Vienna. He founded that atomic spectra should really be determined by some kind of eigenvalue problem, and the quantum mechanical atomic model which shows which shows the orbitals around the nucleus in constant motion. He was an only child. When Hitler took power he moved to Germany. Won the Nobel Prize. -

He was born in 1892 in Fracne. Discovered what we know today as Theory of Wave Mechanics. He was an only child. When Hitler took power he moved to Germany. Won the Nobel Prize. -
Werner Heisenberg
Born in 1901 in Wurzburg. Known for his theory of quantum mechanics. He worked with Niels Bohr. He was taken prisoner by Americans after WWII. He won the Nobel Prize. -
James Chadwick
Born in 1891 in the U.K. He discovered the neutron. The he did it was he used alpha particals. He also had twins, and enjoying fishing.
