    Benedict Arnold lead a failed seizure of Quebec and was severely injured. He was forced the retreat as the British Army approached.
  • Common Sense Published

    Thomas Paine published the Common Sense pamphlet outlining the reasons to declare American Independence from Great Britain.

  • Battle of Trenton
