    A beautiful, but selfish prince is presented with the opportunity to help an old, ugly lady, but treats her badly. She turns out to be a beautiful woman with power and she curses the prince, making him ugly and lonely.

    He is given a magical mirror to watch the world through while he is isolated. In order for the spell to be broken, he needs to learn to love a person for who they are, and get them to love him before a magical rose he also is given loses its petals.

    In the village a beautiful young girl feels lonely and misunderstood, because she reads books, unlike everyone else. She daydreams about getting out, getting a better life, and meeting a prince.

    Meet Gaston
    Belle thinks about her outsider status while fending off the advances of a local hero, the narcissistic Gaston, who plans to marry her, even though she has no interest in him
  • Maurice goes missing

    Maurice goes missing
    Her father, Maurice a "nutty professor", goes off to compete at an inventors' fair but gets lost in the woods and ends up a prisoner at the Beast's castle.
  • Belle goes to find her father

    Belle goes to find her father
    Belle goes looking for her father and finds him at the castle. She pleads for her fathers release, in return for her staying as a prisioner. The Beast agrees, and now Belle is trapped in the castle with the beast and his staff.
  • Maurice tries to rescue Belle

    Maurice heads back to town to rally the troops to free Belle but finds them reluctant to help.

    Belle gets everything she wants from the servants, from perfomances, to delicious food. But, she triggers the Beast's temper when she travels into the forbidden west wing and finds the enchanted rose that symbolizes his curse.

    The Beast freaks out, and she flees the castle into the middle of a winter storm, running into local wolves who decide she'd taste delicious. The Beast arrives to save her, though he's wounded in the process and Belle takes care of him.

    Weeks past and Maurice never gives up looking for Belle, but as time goes on, the beast's temper lessens and he begins to fall in love with her
  • Gaston sends a mob to Maurice's

    Gaston sends a mob to Maurice's
    Gaston sends a mob outside of Maurice's house, trying to bring him to a lunatic asylum and when Belle hears of this, she leaces to go rescue him, carrying the magic mirror so she can still check up on Beast.
  • Mob goes to the Beast's castle

    Mob goes to the Beast's castle
    Belle shows everyone that there is actually a Beast, making Maurice not crazy, but Gaston uses this to anger the crowd, causing them to lock up Belle and Maurice and go to the castle to get rid of the Beast.

    The servents at the castle are ready to fight, but Gaston makes it to the beast anyways. Before Gaston kills the beast, Belle comes rushing in, giving the Beast more motivation,and eventually he defeats Gaston, but allows him to live
  • Gaston stabs the Beast

    Gaston stabs the Beast
    The Beast runs to hug Belle, and Gaston sees this as an opportunity to strike, and he stabs the Beast. As the Beast is dying in Belle's arms, last petal on the enchanted rose falls, and Belle confesses that she loves him.
  • The Beast comes back to life and the curse is lifted

    The Beast comes back to life and the curse is lifted
    The rain turns into sparkles, and the Beast comes back to life, but in his prince form, and the curse is lifted. They live happily ever after.
  • Gaston confesses his second motives

    Gaston confesses his second motives
    Gaston, still annoyed at Belle for rejecting him and his attempts to marry her, thinks he can use Maurice as a way to pressure Belle into becoming his bride.
