Just before Beethoven was born, people in the new colonies were fighting for freedom. The new world was fighting the british. On this date, a "massacre" occured were Britain soldiers were supposedly forced to kill drunk american colonists. The real details of the massacre have been toyed with. So, we aren't really sure what happened. But, we have an understanding.

Ludwig von Beethoveen was born in Bonn, Germany. Around this time in Wolfgang Mozart was the musical child prodigy making his name know. If it weren't for Ludwig's parents putting him into the musical industry, a lot of things wouldnt have happened .

At age four, Ludwig von Beethoven was being taught by his fatheeer the piano. According to sources, he was a star at it. During this time it was important that your kid should be in the music business because it was able to pay well. When Ludwig was young, Mozart was the word on the street. Everyone wanted their kid to be like that. By the looks of it, Beethoven was doing just fine.

Making an impression on people is important. Ludwig was age eight when he first made a public appearance in Cologne, Germany. It was important for it to be good. The concert would help start up his career.

Most people have their job when they are 16 or 17. Ludwig got his first job at the age of 14. The salary was 150 florins. Ludwig was appointed organist to the Choir of Maximilian Franz in church.

Beethoveen was most honored in meeting flong time idol, Wolfgang Mozart. Ludwig wante to impreesMozart to become his student. Mozart was extremely impressed and wanted him to be his student but Ludwig's dying mother took place instead of mozart. Five years later, Mozart had died.

Funeral
Ludwig was 19 when the Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II had passed away. Beethoven had been asked to write a composition for the memorial service. But, for unknown circumstances, it was never played. The piece was found many years later titled Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II. It is considered one of his early masterpieces.

Marie Antionette was queen of France at this time. On this date she was guilltined for being a "traitor" to her country. A few years before this, her husband was killed like her for escaping the country.

Hearing loss
Hearing is an important thing for musicians. Ludwig had started to lose his hearing around this time. it was about 60% of his hearing. For musicians, it's extremely dangerous to be deaf because you won't be able to hear the music you are playing and conducting. But, Ludwig still pushed on and made plenty of music.

Moving around
Sometimes people move to different places for work or vacations. For Ludwig, moving North of vienna was to try and suppress his hearing loss. In his time up North, He had created symphony No.2 and three piano canatas and also his last will and testament.

Vienna is a major spot for musicians to have their music premired. Beethoveen's symphony "Eroica" made its first appearance in Vienna. It premiered in the theater Anderwan. This one Beethoveen's many symphonies shown at Vienna.

During His reign, Napoleon fleets had entered vienna. At this time, France and and Austria were enemies. Napoleon was trying to Austria to the brink of war. But, Austrians showed no restistance to Napoleon and his fleet of troops.

After going through a hard fought war against Great Britain, a treaty was signed. The treaty of Ghent ended the war of 1812. The American victory at Lake Champlain caused this treaty to be made.

On this date, the United Sates had created a document that was pretty harsh on Europe. The document was titled Monroe Doctrine, it discouraged that european countries colonizing to the U.S. No colonizing was allowed in the North or South america colonies.

Lost of a LEGEND
In Beethoven's lifetime, he had done so many things. He created syphonies and songs that we known ever to day. For example "ode to joy". On this date, Ludwig Von Beethoveen had lost his life to pneumonia in Vienna. Ludwig's career was so ispiring to music. He had gone through so much angst and heartbreak. He still kept his career going.
