one day Greta's dad and brother went over to west Berlin before the wall went up to see how the hotels where. -

the Berlin wall was built in 1961 and lasted for a few years many families where separated. -
why the wall was built
the Berlin wall was built to separate east and west Berlin because problems where happening. -
the rebellion
the people of east Berlin started to attack the wall to try and break it down. -
wall was upgraded
when the Berlin wall was upgraded east added barbed wire along the top and added a death strip on the ground to keep people away from the wall a viewing platform was also added so that the people in west Berlin could see the people in east Berlin. -
the sighting
one day when Greta and her friend where walking to school neer the wall and Greta looked up twords the wall and saw her dad and brother Dominic. -

one day Greta's brother Fritz didn't come home from work. Greta and her mom where scard but the next day when Greta got home from school Fritz was there -
Greta finds a hatch
one day Greta gets a piece of paper that that has a picture of a buliding that she dosen't recednize once school is over she goes thrue east Brelin to find the buliding when she finds it she crals throu a small windo and finds a bid hatch she opens it and climes down the lader and relixes that it was from the war that haped a long time ago. -
we'er thinking
the leader of east saw how much chaos happening after the wall was put up and started to think about taking the wall down.
