    Accomplishments
In my eyes the biggest Black Panther accomplishment was the free breakfast for children. This helpend many poor/hungry African American children in not only Oakland but the whole west coast. The group encouraged many African Americans to stand up in what they believe in through protests and strikes.

    Problems today
Today the Black Lives Matter protests are a lot like the Black Panthers. Still fighting for eqaul rights today, African Americans experience police brutality and unfair job opportunities. Multiple times a day, an African American man is being miss treated by police. Stories across the country of Police brutality is very common today and happens everywhere. We even see it in our school. Racism is still around. This is why the Black Lives Matter organization has erupted.
