Fredonian Rebellion
Edwards made an alliance with Cherokee Indians and declared the "Republic of Fredonia" independent of mexico. Edwards attempted to rally a significant number of Anglo settlers in the Austin, DeWitt, and DeLeon colonies as well as other areas of Texas to join his revolution, but failed. -
Guerrero Decree
It is not fully understood why Guerrero issued this law, but it is thought he may of hoped the decree would be a check because it was in violation of the colonization laws which guaranteed the settlers security for their personal property. -
Law of April 6, 1830
Enforcement of this law resulted directly in the Anahuac Disturbances of 1832 and indirectly the battle of Velasco, the conventions of 1832 and 33, and the accumulation of grievances that helped lead to the revolution. -

Convention of 1832
The outcome of the meeting was they adopted of resolutions requesting the extension of tariffs exemptions. Also, they wanted to permit more general immigration from the U.S, established a plan for organizing militia and committees of vigilance. -
Convention 1833
The reason why the meeting was held so ealy was because William H. Whaton presided over the convention with petitioned for repeal of the ant-immigration secton of the law of April 6, 1830. -

What led to this conflict was when Anglo settlers William Travis and Patrick Jack were arrested. A war was inevitable at thistime because of that. -
Stephen F. Austin Goes to Mexico City
Austin's purpose in traveling to Mexico City was because he was willing to presen his resolutions to the government He was begging for there approval. But hey denied. -
The Consultation
Opinions that were being debated was between the opposing factions that wanted to continue a diplomatic relations wit Mexico led by Stephen F. Austin. While th other half wanted imminently declare independence led by William Wharton and Hnery Smith.
