    Captains Log
    The crew for my ship, the Golden Heart, is preparing the cast of the port of London, England. We are on an expedition to China, for the unknown land of treasure and gold. My First Mate, John Turner, will soon inform me that the crew has finished preperation and they are ready to set sail. After checking the mapped course for the last time, we will set sail for the land beyond. For God, Gold, and Glory.

    After six months at sea, we have made much progress on our voyage to China, but have been caught in a strenuous storm. We are about to the Cape of Good Fortune, which is known for its "Lack of Storms", but that is not the case. We have spent many days fighting the wind and waves. I am hopeful that we will be able to make it out alive.

    We made our way around the Cape of Good Hope and heading north up the coast of Africa. We have been blown off course by several days to the west. Our ship is damaged heavily from the storm and our supplies are runnning low. We will have to ship anchor and go to shore to collect more supplies.

    We were nearing the coast of India, when we were attacked a pirates. There captain, the infamous Chin Shih, raided our ship for treasure and supplies. Fortunently, my crew and I were able to fend off the pirates with our cannons and swords. Several of my crewmen died defending the ship and many were wounded in the battle. Our course was slowed to the coast of India, but we survived.

    We have arrived in Honk Kong, China. The land is covered in new kinds of people, plants, and riches. I have see many shops with gold idols, jade jewelery, and other strange trinckets. There is still many people who is to know the Catholic faith and many riches to collect.
