    Day 31 of the Trip

    Day 31 of the Trip
Day thirty-one of the trip. The food is nasty, my clothes are wet, I'm exausted and my back hurts. This has been the toughest 31 days of my life. I feel lost and conused. Im starting to wonder if getting on this ship was even a good idea.

    Day 41 of the Trip

    Day 41 of the Trip
Day 40. At least I think. I have been here for 41 days and I've gotten about 60 hours of sleep. When its our turn to sleep we get two hours, maybe two and a half if the person on watch duty forgets. It's not like we get to sleep on a comfort bed with warm dry pilliows and blankets. We sleep on the cold, hard, damp wooden deck.

Lost track of days but still at sea

Lost track of days but still at sea
We have lost many men already to sickness and unhealthy food and water. Rats have taken huge bites of our food rations. Our food is terrible but edible when you're starving. I miss my warm meals I got 4 times a week. I miss our desserts we got twice a month if i traded somthing of vlaue for it. So I'm kinda missing home.

We heard there was a fountain of youth there! We stopped to find it and see if we can trade for any valuables. Trading our valuebles for thier valubles will help us learn more about the poeple their and their cultures.

There was sugar. I didnt know how much I would ove it but I love it so much! I wish I had enough valubles to trade to get some.

went 20 miles the worng way and had to turn around. As we finally got back on track there was a huge storm. Everything is soaked. Our clothes, food, the ship, and our weapons. It cut a couple holes in the sales but not bad enough that we cant get from place to place.

    Cape Cross

    Cape Cross
So now we are heading south form Rio de Oro which was beautiful. It has taken I believe 20 days to get here. As we arrived the land was taken over by seals and other sea life. The was very little civiliation and people who live here. We are running low on food and other important resouces. We didnt stayr very long and traded wiht no one.
