Causes of the American revolution

  • The French and Indian War

    Its also known as the seven years war. This war lasted from 1756 to 1763. The French and Indian war fought over the fertile Ohio River Valley between British and the colonist and the French and their Native allies from 1754 to 1763

    There was tension between the colonists and the British. British troops travled to Concord in order to to seize arms. Paual Revere and other people notified the colonists of British troops by sounding an alarm. So they began fighting and the British retreated.
