Mexico canceled the contract of empresario haden edwards. Haden Edwards lost his deal with the mexicans which upset him. -

Mier y Teran set off on an expedition into Texas. He said that the Mexicans needed to increase the measures used to keep out empresarios. The Anglo-Americans would be upset with the prohibition of slavery and closer watches on the Anglo's -
Guerrero Decree
This decree abolished slavery in Texas. They would hate this because it would completely abolish slavery. -
Law of April 6, 1830
This law was designed to limit the immigration in Texas. This law also strengthened the hold on their abolishment of slavery. The Anglo's would not like this because they would not be able to keep settling -
Conflict at Anahuac
Travis and Patrick Jack were were arrested. Which caused conflicts. The Anglo's didn't like that William Travis and Patrick Jack were arrested. -
Turtle Bayou Resolutions
Federalist settlers opposed rule of the Mexicans, so the Mexicans were ready to punish all of the settlers. The Anglo's would be upset that they were about to be punished. -
Battle of Velasco
First time blood was shed between Texas and Mexico. the Texans were trying to retrieve a cannon to use against the Mexicans. The Texans would be upset that mexicans were fighting them. -
Convention of 1832
Held because of all of the previous conflicts and asked for things from the Mexicans. The Anglo's would be upset that not all the delegates would appear on the signing which made it where they couldn't talk to the Mexicans about the contract. -
Convention of 1833
This was to fix the problems of the first convention. The Anglo's would be upset that only one person went to talk to Mexico about their problems. -

SFA goes to talk to Mexico about their problems. The Anglo's would be upset that he was turned down and arrested. -
The Consultation
It served as a debate between the opposing factions that
wanted to continue a diplomatic relations with Mexico, led by
Stephen F. Austin and the side that wanted to immediately declare
independence, led by William Wharton and Henry Smith. The Anglo's would be upset that the Mexicans were being so cruel to them.
