    Mexico canceled the contract of empresario haden edwards. Haden Edwards lost his deal with the mexicans which upset him.

    Mier y Teran set off on an expedition into Texas. He said that the Mexicans needed to increase the measures used to keep out empresarios. The Anglo-Americans would be upset with the prohibition of slavery and closer watches on the Anglo's

    This decree abolished slavery in Texas. They would hate this because it would completely abolish slavery.

    This law was designed to limit the immigration in Texas. This law also strengthened the hold on their abolishment of slavery. The Anglo's would not like this because they would not be able to keep settling
