It allowed Hitler to take what he wanted without a fight, which obviously enboldened him to demand more. Why would one stop demanding AT ANY POINT IN TIME when demanding has proven to be so effectively rewarding in the past? It created a false sense of security in those that would oppose him, thus allowing him to catch Britain and others unaware.

japan wanted to spread communism and wanted to conquer some ares like China. Hitler agreed to help them conquer china. The United States attacked Japan because of Pearl Harbor. Also to stop spreading communism to china. -
Nationalism
the agressors that started world war 2, were the fascists of Germany and Italy, they were 2 different nations with 2 different cultures, and different interests in the world war, but they collaborated together, so this was internationalism, which is the antithesis of the 2nd definition of Nationalism
