In 1921 Cesar Sandino tried to kill Dagoberto Rivas because the man made fun of Cesar’s mother. After threat to go prison he fled to places like Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico. -

In 1926-1927 US troops invade Nicaragua. Cesar makes an army of miners. They help fight the US troops. -

Lots of general in Nicaragua surrender but Cesar does not. Luckily Cesar escaped from an ambush on May 12 1927. He took off again. -

Cesar died on Febuary 21 1934. Many people were upset. He was a South American hero.
