    milatary50 boys were accepted to join us, but baker got lame the first day and this morning he wanted to go try to get discharged, we are expected to leave marble rock and be in davevport next wednesday

    the hospitalwe have orders to be ready to march in the morning, 15 miles south to prosect station we are all well but crumb he hent to the hospital the day befor yesterday and we have not heard for him since he had the measles

    traveingi stated from daveport tuesday morning arrived at chicago and stayed there til 9:30 and starter agian and arrinved at indianapolis and then left for louisville, kentucky then in the morning going to this place called old kentucky we passed bowling green and now we are near knoxville and in the morning heading for pulaski, tennessee
