    videoBrown v Board of Education was a case order made by the Supreme Court to Integrate Public Schools which struck the concept of 'seperate but equal'. This meant that blacks could now go to white schools, which sounded like a triumph for blacks, but all it did was create greater controversy. Which meant that blacks are now getting more hate than they did before because many white parents did not want their children to attend with "negroes". The effect stirred up a storm of violence and unethacality
  • Montgomery bus boycott

    Montgomery bus boycott
    MBBThis Civil Rights campaign started with Rosa Parks, an African American, who refused to give up her seat to a white man in Montgomery Alabama. She was then arrested for not following the Montgomery Bus Policy. This action sparked a rebellion of the minority community. Fewer and Fewer blacks were taking the bus, which caused bus companies to go broke. This action was to be known as the Montgomery bus boycott.

    SClCThe SCLC or the "Southern Christian Leadership Conference" was a civl rights group led by Martin Luther King Jr. After his bus boycott was very effective, Dr King led more rebellious acts against the Majority community. One of Dr. King's stragety was a sit- in, where blacks would refuse to leave a public building until their demands are met, which in this case is Civil Rights
  • Formation of SNCC

    Formation of SNCC
    The SNCC or the "Student Noviolent Coordinating Commitee" was a group of students who went around commuicating with white folk about integration, the white folks hower, stated, "We would rather close the schools than integrate..." the origis of this commitee was a meetig held in Shaw Uiversity by Ellla Baker in 1960, SNCC soon became a large organzation helping raise funds to workers in the south, helping them raise their salary to $10.00 per week.

    Another March led by Martin Luther King, but was unsuccesful considering that almost a thousand people were arrested for challenging segregated bus units.

    Opposed to getting death threats daily Charlayne and Hamilto Holmes, were the first two "blacks" to be accepted and enlisted in University of Georgia
  • Freedom Riders

    Freedom Riders
    The freedom Riders were a group of civil rights activist that were challenging the segregated bus units around the states, all though it states the word "freedom it's a bit ironic..On May 4, 1961, Mothers Day a group of blacks and whites from (CORE) were heading from Washington DC to New Orleans to test out the "Boynton v Virginia" case that stated that segregated buses were unconsitutional. But the tables have turned when the group was assaulted by klansmen. But the riders stood their ground.

    President John F Kennedy enacted the civil rights actvwhich integrated working units and public facilities which again increased controversy between the two races.
  • Assassination of Martin Luther King Jr

    AOMLK On April 1968 Martin Luthr King jr was protesting with some sanitation workers, later on staying in the Lorean Motel in Memphis Tennessee, unaware that an asassin has him in his crosshairs, ready to pull the trigger of a 30 caliber rifle. In posession of James Earl Ray, a segregationist who hated MLK right from the start.
