The Montgomery bus boycott was a protest against racial segregation. The front of the bus was reserved for whites and the back for the blacks. -

Black Power is a slogan it is aimed towards self-determination. Black Power was used in 1960 to emphasize racial pride. It showed just because they were a different color didn’t mean they couldn’t do what whites did. -

4 African American students went for lunch and asked for some food and they were turned down and asked to leave the place and they did not they sat there waiting for their food. -
March on Washington
The March on Washington was for jobs and freedom it was held in Washington D.C. There were 250,000 people there because of the "i have a dream" speech which brought more people on the march. -
The Bombing of the 16th street
It was an act of white supremacist terrorism which happened at the African American baptist church on 16th street in Birmingham, Alabama. At least on fifteen dynamite were thrown into the church. Four girls were killed in the church. -
JFK assassination
John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas for wanting everyone to be equal and have the same rights. He wanted everyone to be the same and treated the same and some people didn't like that. -
Selma march
The Selma to Montgomery marches were three protest marches, held in 1965, along the 54-mile highway from Selma, Alabama to the state capital of Montgomery. It was a nonviolent protest. -

Martin Luther King was assassinated April,4 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee for wanting to have equal rights. He also led nonviolent protest which is better.
