Admission of Charlayne Hunter and Hamilton Holmes into the University of Georgia
they were the first African Americans students to be admitted into UGA. At first when they tried to enter they was turned down because of limited space. Even though Holmes attended more house college on full scholarship they kept trying, Holmes even wrote a letter asking to accept them but failed. So they took it to court filing suit using the brown case to help them. They won and they soon attended UGA -

In Birmingham Alabama, Four girls were attending Sunday school and a bomb exploded at Sixteenth Street Baptist Church this particular church was often used for civil rights meeting. This angered a lot of people and a riot erupted leading to more deaths. -

It was in Memphis tennessee he was at the Lorraine Motel standing outisde and he was shot by a man named James Earl Ray. MLK Jr was born january 15 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a baptist minister and civil rights activist he played a big role in ending segregation for the blacks. MLK Jr recieved an noble peace prize in 1964 with alot of different honors. MLK Jr is remembered as an great african american leaders alot of people remeber hi by his "i have a dream" speach in 1963
