Compromise of 1850
California enters as free state. Slave trade abolished in Washington, D.C. The fuative slave law had many changes made to the law. -
Fugitive slave law
Part of the compromise of 1850. It was required for all of the states to return to their owners even if they where a free state. -

Assassination and death of Lincoln
John Wilkes Booth ented the president box at Ford's theater in Washington D.C and he was shot. He leaped on the stage and escaped though the back door, and than was brough across the street to Peatersen's boarding house and died the next morning.
